Vision
  • Aiming to develop educational personnel with advanced competencies
  • Educational Personnel: Refers to student teachers of the Faculty of Education who will graduate from the Faculty of Education and work as civil servant teachers or teachers in various educational institutions. In the future, they may work as educational supervisors, administrators, or lecturers in higher education institutions, both at Chiang Mai University and other institutions, or as demonstration teachers and students of the Chiang Mai University Demonstration School, who will be developed as role models. These groups of educational personnel are key mechanisms in developing future learners who will take care of Thailand.
  • Advanced Competencies: Refers to the important competencies that educational personnel should be developed in and be able to use to develop future learners, which are measured by outputs, i.e., having a higher level of competency. The advanced competencies in this context include: "ADRIC"
  • A - Actively Design Phenomenon Learning: The competency in managing active learning that can design learning using situations around the learners appropriately, such as using area-based contexts and learning from current situations.
  • D - Digital Literacy and AI Literacy: The competency in using technology both in learning management and daily life, and being aware of AI, which means using AI to assist in learning management and work, or knowing that learners use AI in learning, including the process of measuring and evaluating learners who use AI.
  • R - Resilience: The competency in adapting to the changes and volatility of the world, the ability to accept mistakes and improve.
  • I - Innovative Skill: The ability to create new things using the design thinking process to develop and improve work.
  • C - Thai Citizen with Global Perspective: The competency in being a Thai global citizen who has an international understanding, understands diversity, and respects differences.
  • The Role of the Faculty of Education in Developing Educational Personnel with Advanced Competencies: Refers to the role of the Faculty of Education in designing the mechanism of learning management based on ADRIC competencies in producing graduates, conducting research, and providing academic services, which create role models through the Demonstration School.
  • Vision Goal : "To enhance the level of advanced competencies of educational personnel."
  1. Levels of Advanced Competencies of Each Group of Educational Personnel: Undergraduate and graduate students, and recipients of academic services.
  2. Impact of the Project on Stakeholders (SROI): 3 times the invested budget.

Missions
  1. Provide quality higher education in the field of education according to professional standards and be able to develop future personnel with quality.
  2. Produce and transfer research to help solve educational problems of the local community and the country.
  3. Provide academic services to the community to strengthen local and national educational institutions.
  4. Operate the Demonstration School with excellence to support the strategies and missions of the Faculty.
  5. Manage the organization with excellence by focusing on flexibility, using technology to assist in work, and participation, based on the principles of good governance.

Strategic Objectives
