November 10, 2025 – The executives of the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (CMU), extended a warm welcome to a delegation from National Chiayi University (NCYU), Taiwan, to discuss future academic cooperation.

The CMU welcoming party included:

• Assistant Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Natthapol Jaengaksorn
• Assistant Dean Dr. Chainarong Jarupongputtana
• Assistant Dean Dr. Pornsuda Insan (from the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School ( MIdS CMU), and a lecturer in the Thai Language Division, Faculty of Education)

The NCYU delegation was led by Prof. Cheng-Cheng Yang, Vice President for International Affairs, along with Assoc. Prof. Yu-Chia Hsu from the Department of Agronomy, and staff from the Office of International Affairs.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange views on potential future inter-institutional academic activities and cooperation, including:

• Student Exchange Scholarship Programs
• Exploring the possibility of developing further academic collaboration
• Establishing a strong institutional network between CMU and NCYU

The meeting aimed to strengthen ties and lay the groundwork for fruitful academic relations between the two universities.
