December 15, 2025 – The Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (CMU), officially welcomed a high-level delegation of executives, faculty members, and staff from Busan National University of Education (BNUE), Republic of Korea.

Assistant Professor Dr. Tipparat Noparit, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with Lecturer Dr.Janejira Arsarkij, Assistant Dean, received the 31-person delegation in their visit to Chiang Mai University.

The primary purpose of the visit was to finalize details for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the university level. The two institutions also discussed the possibilities for future academic cooperation, including faculty, staff, and student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.

The executive members of the Busan National University of Education delegation included:

The meeting was held at the 45th Anniversary Meeting Room, Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University. Following the discussion, the BNUE delegation also had the opportunity to tour the CMU campus environment, utilizing the university's mass transit electric vehicle (CMU Electric Shuttle Car) for convenient travel and to experience the university atmosphere.
