October 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (CMU), extended a formal welcome to a delegation from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary.

Assistant Prof. Dr.Tipparat Noparit, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with Assistant Dean Lecturer Dr.Janejira Arsarkij, Assistant Professor Dr. Nannaphat Saenghong (Head of the Division of Social Science Education), and Assistant Professor Dr. Pisith Nasee (Lecturer in the Division of Social Science Education), received the ELTE academics.

The delegation included Dr. Orsolya Tünde Endrődy-Nagy and Dr. Luca Alexa Erdei, who are visiting the Faculty of Education under the ERASMUS exchange scholarship program from October 22–29, 2025.

During the visit, the executives and academics exchanged views on potential future inter-institutional academic activities. Key areas of discussion included:

• Visit by ELTE Dean and Executives: A scheduled visit by the Dean and executive members from ELTE in August 2026 to formally discuss concrete possibilities for developing academic cooperation.
• Joint Grant Proposal Writing: Drafting project proposals to secure funding for undergraduate and graduate student exchange programs.
• Collaborative Research: Exploring cooperation on various joint research issues.

The discussion served to strengthen ties and pave the way for a formalized partnership between CMU and ELTE.
