CMU Faculty of Education Welcomes Students from Guangxi University of Foreign Languages for Short Course in Thai Language, Music, and Arts & Culture
June 20, 2025 – Asst. Prof. Dr.Tipparat Noparit, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (CMU), welcomed students from Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, People's Republic of China. The students are participating in a Short Course program held at the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University, from June 17 to June 24, 2025. This program aims to provide international students with the opportunity to learn about and experience Thai arts and culture, including language, music, dance, and fine arts. This is facilitated through teaching processes and hands-on workshops designed by expert faculty members from CMU's Faculty of Education.
The training is divided into three subject groups:
- Music: Training from June 17 – 21, 2025, with 89 participants.
- Art and Thai Culture: Training from June 18 – 22, 2025, with 87 participants.
- Thai Dance: Training from June 20 – 24, 2025, with 63 participants.
This training program reflects the Faculty of Education, CMU's role in expanding its presence on the international stage through academic services and the dissemination of Thailand's cultural heritage to a global audience.
