The executives, faculty members, and demonstration school teachers from the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University, conducted a study visit to Volkswagen Shanghai and the Shanghai Auto Museum.
On November 6, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Tipparat Noparit, Dean of the Faculty of Education, led a delegation of executives, faculty members from the Faculty of Education, and teachers from Chiang Mai University Demonstration School, along with students from the MWIT-CMU project, on a study visit to Volkswagen Shanghai. The purpose of the visit was to explore automotive innovations that could be adapted for teaching approaches and the development of future educators' learning skills. It also aimed to enhance the capabilities of the faculty staff in producing technology-savvy teachers.
In addition, the group visited the Shanghai Auto Museum to learn about the history and evolution of technology. The knowledge gained is intended to be incorporated into the development of integrated teaching curricula, linking technology, engineering, and history to educational practices. The visit also provided insights into engaging presentation techniques that could be applied to classroom design and the creation of appealing educational materials for students.
