The primary purpose of the visit was to discuss avenues for expanding opportunities in academic cooperation and joint research initiatives between the two institutions. Furthermore, as part of their visit, the ELTE academics will engage in an academic exchange session at the Faculty of Education on Saturday, July 18, 2026, supported by the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme.
Notably, the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (EDU CMU), and Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) recently collaborated as co-organizers for The 5th National and 3rd International Conference on Education (NICE EDU CMU 2026). Held on July 3, 2026, the conference was driven by the theme, “Education in the Era of Human–AI Teaming: Developing Competencies for Meaningful Collaboration with AI.”
This strong partnership reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to foster international academic networks and facilitate the exchange of educational knowledge and innovations. Ultimately, the collaboration aims to sustainably drive educational development to align with the transformative changes brought about by the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
